Bro. Tom grew up in Lake Station, Indiana where he received Christ as his Savior in November of 1963. After a few years of working in the the Bethlehem Steel Mill Bro. Tom felt the call to full time ministry. His conviction towards full time ministry led to a Mission work in Japan, where he and his wife Lynnetta served faithfully for 10 years. When God called Bro. Tom to return to the States, he was came to serve as the Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor here at Leagueville. He later went on to serve 2 years as Senior Pastor at Unity Baptist Church in Mayfield, Kentucky. Then in 1995 Bro. Tom accepted the call to the Senior Pastorate of Leagueville Baptist Church, where he has faithfully served since.

Bro. Bob grew up in Port Arthur, Texas and as a young man served our country in the
US Army. After the military life, Bro. Bob went on to be called to full time ministry, where he has served multiple churches, gained libraries of knowledge, and has shared the love of Christ to many Texans and even Coloradans. After retiring Bro. Bob was called to serve as Associate Pastor at Leagueville Baptist Church in 2014. Bro. Bob is not a stranger to many, and is a deeply valued friend to everyone he meets.

Bro. Hernan grew up in Texas City, Tx where he accepted the call to full-time ministry when he was 15 years old. Bro. Hernan then served as a young adult as a musician, Sunday School Teacher, and trained as a preacher, until his home church, Temple Baptist Church extended the call to serve as their Associate Pastor in October of 2018. Bro. Hernan served in his position as Associate Pastor until God called him here to Leagueville Baptist Church where he has served as Associate Pastor/Youth Director since April of 2022.

Jaycie has been a member of Leagueville Baptist Church her whole life. Her family was instrumental in building the new facilities in 2002 as well as recounting the history of Leagueville. She took on the role of children's director in 202? and has become such a key part of our church growth. 

Andy grew up in the greater Tyler area and joined Leagueville Baptist Church in the early 80's. After graduating high school Andy has been a faithful member and teacher here at Leagueville. Starting with a Junior High class in the early 90's and in the early 2000's he began teaching the Married Couples class. Andy has also served as a deacon since 2004 and has served as our treasurer since 2017.

Angie grew up here in Brownsboro and has been a member of Leagueville Baptist since 2001. She has faithfully served as the Church Secretary since 2006. Angie has many irons in the fire here at Leagueville and if you have a question she probably has the answer.

Connie wears many hats at Leagueville Baptist and is always there to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Connie grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas and joined Leagueville Baptist Church in 1996 with her husband, Lance. She has played a key role as hospitality director organizing weddings, showers, funerals, and any other event that needs her special touch alongside volunteering in the nursery every week.  

David has lived most of his life here in the Brownsboro area. David and his wife became members here at Leagueville Baptist in 2017. David has served as on of maintenance workers taking care of the downstairs facilities since 2020. David is now the Head of maintenance taking care of the whole of our church facility.

Lance grew up here in the Leagueville area. Lance came to know Christ as his savior at church camp August of 1978. Since then he has been a faithful member of Leagueville Baptist and was ordained to be a deacon in 2004. Lance can often be found playing bass in our Praise Band or putting out fires here at Leagueville.

Hernan originally began his ministry in music when he was 15. When he first surrendered to the ministry, he learned to play the guitar, so that he may serve in the church in some capacity. Coming from a musical background with the Texas City High School marching band and mariachi band, he thought this would be the best fit for him.
Hernan has served as worship leader since August of 2023.
Hernan can be found leading worship, playing guitar, or looking for dropped guitar picks.

Big Jim and his wife, Sue, are such a blessing to Leagueville Baptist Church. Big Jim grew up in Fannett, Tx in Jefferson County where he discovered his call to ministry. As a retired pastor, he and his wife came to Leagueville looking for an opportunity to serve, where they then joined in 2020. Shortly after, Big Jim served in the praise band as the guitarist which eventually lead to his role as the choir director. He has been such a wonderful addition to the worship team. 

Johnny grew up in Fort Worth, Texas until he moved hear to the Brownsboro area in 1978. Johnny and his wife Cindy joined Leagueville in 1981.
Johnny has been a pioneer in the Leagueville Baptist music ministry. Playing keyboard since 1981, and eventually becoming our lead piano player in 2007.
Johnny is a faithful member in our Praise Band and always a smiling face.
Johnny can be found playing piano, maintaining our church yard, or talking about the Mav's.

Matthew grew up here in Brownsboro. Matthew learned to play the trumpet in the Brownsboro Military Band, and has since used his talents to praise God in our Praise Band. Matthew has also began picking up the keyboard and is a jack-of-all-trades with our sound gear.
Matthew can be found adding texture to our band on trumpet, playing lead on keys, or fixing the music slides because, "Bro.Hernan doesn't sing it like that."

Danny grew up in Brownsboro where he began playing the drums in high school alongside our bassist, Lance, in the Brownsboro Military Band. Danny and his wife, Angie, joined Leagueville in 2001 with their two daughters where Danny later helped start up the praise band in 2018.
Danny can be found playing the drums, cooking on the grill or smoker, or laughing along to a good story.

Lance grew up in the Leagueville area. Lance found his love for music alongside our drummer, Danny, in the Brownsboro Military Band. Lance later lead worship for Leagueville for a number of years, and has always loved playing his bass.
Lance can be found playing his bass, cooking for our stew supper, or sharing the Love of God with the kiddos on the front row.
